Pulled Hamstring doesn't seem to heal fast enough

    I've never pulled a muscle before, so I don't know if this is normal or not. I pulled my hamstring a couple months ago, and it's still bothering me. I looked online on how to treat it, and it said to massage, stretch and ice it. I've only been doing that for the past week or so, but it still hurts a bit. Any other tips/suggestions?

    I pulled a hamstring pretty bad several years ago and it still acts up every now and then if I don't stretch or warm up properly.

    1. Are you sure it's your muscle and not a ligament?
    2. Sounds like it could be torn if it is your muscle. Muscles should not take that long to heal from being pulled. Might want to get it looked at.

    Hamstrings are terrible muscles to pull. Even when they get better they can get "tweaked" so easily.

    I'm just guessing that it's a muscle. Fuck, I hate getting my shit checked. When I hurt my knee last year, I spent over $1k in X-rays, check-ups, MRIs, and PT and nothing helped.

    I stretch a lot though, so I'm pretty pissed that this had to happen to me.
