Eh I just noticed something rather odd...

I have a pull-up bar in my doorway and I can usually only squeeze out 2 (yea I know)...

I was checking the mail just now and I deicded to try my tree as a pull-up bar, I could get more than 5. Seemed as if the thicker branch made it easier to access my lats for pulling power. Anyone else notice this?

    Yea random I know

Perhaps its the extra surface area your hands have on the "bar"

since my feet hit the ground on the pull up bar at the gym i do it off the frame where the pullup bar is on and i can get alot more out since it's thicker, i don't know if it works a different muscle group though :dunno:
