Anyone hear any rumors about a Psychonauts 2?

Game is awesome, I love the trippy scenarios you get to walk around in

The humor is good, gameplay is good, other than some of the ridiculously hard things you have to jump to sometimes I can't find much fault at all in the game. None worth saying anything about anyway.

I know I'm years late, but whatever, I finally played it :o I saved just before talking to the guy to let me in the tower (i have the disguise). looked up on gamefaqs to see how much longer it is and it ends pretty much after you enter there :wtc:

No word on a sequel at all I dont think. Just have to hope that Brutal Legend will be somewhere near as good.

Bummer. btw that looks like chris tucker or chris rock in your av who is that? :p

How hard is the game after you get to the tower?

I want to smoke a big fat one before I load up the game, but if it's gonna be hard as hell it'll be a huge buzzkill :o

my guy is rank 62 or 63.

also, for some reason i feel like i'm missing out on choosing new abilities and upgrading stats or something, I turn in the spider webs and cards and it just goes up in ranks and auto chooses something to upgrade?

also really debating on which castlevania to play... either Symphony of the Night (Yeah, I still have it ftw) or Dawn of Sorrows. Kinda getting frustrated with order of ecclesia.

Its chris tucker from the 5th element.

And I honestly cant remember how hard it gets after the tower... Been so long since I played it. Cant really recall it being incredibly difficult or anything.

Damn, I can't remember the last time I saw fifth element :o

Ill give it a shot then. Games not hard except for some parts like jumping around the castle to get the thing unstuck from the gears when you're shrunk down in the risk-like game against fred and napoleon. I hate that shit, I hate failing miserably at something because I can't jump around right :o

    One of my favorite games.

...and it didn't seem short to me, probably because I collected everything before I moved on to the next area.

Not really different than other games where it's always "go somewhere, get something, go somewhere else." Pretty much how all games are.

You can collect figments/webs to gain levels but you don't have to go after the luggage boxes I don't guess, i certainly don't make a special effort to. Other than that yeah sometimes you have to go collect stuff and return but that can truly be said of most games.

    definably on my favorites list

do you get anything special if you find all the luggage/baggage things? I try to get all the figments and webs but sometimes I just can't get to some of the baggage things. like in the bull fighter's head one of the purses or something is behind a gate I can't get into :squint:

this was a really excellent game.

and it's something thats really frustrating for me. it's pretty easy to tell someone "you gotta check out this movie"....and they just might do it.

but telling someone who doesn't already play games to try it...not so much.

there is no work on a sequel because this game bankrupted the company that made it unfortunately..

    nonetheless, amazing under-appreciated game
