yeah 500 will be more than enough. I had a similar set up but with a x1900xt running on a 380w and had no power problems

500W should be good but have you looked into other company's or check reviews for it?

Yeah, 500watts is enough... but yeah... would have definitely gone with a different brand

I know it's a computer parts company; the question was really a jab at their complete lack of reputation, at least in the USA.

I have a 520W Corsair power supply (made by another company, but made to Corsair's specs at least), and it has modular cables that actually aren't more of a pain in the ass than hardwired cables. Check them out on Newegg, or whatever you people use over there.

Nope. The other half is Hungarian, meaning there's a hint of Mongolian somewhere in there.

Probably explains my predilection for decorative axes and little fur hats.

sorry to the OP for the derail.

I went to school in NJ, so I'm definitely familiar. I'm actually kinda the opposite of all those italian stallions and princesses -- whereas they have italian DNA but have never been to italy, I was born there but have no italian DNA. Ironic.

I don't really care about fur hats, btw...that's from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Jeantech is actually pretty big/popular in Asia and Europe. It's a China-Taiwan based company specializing PC/server cases, rack mounts, enclosures, and those kind of things.

This is the Jeantech Aqua, a popular case for gamers
    [IMG]

For USA and Canada, it's the Raidmax Smilodon

    same shit.

as for PSUs, the gaming forums I go to consider them on par with Antec.

The motherboard manual tells you what kind of RAM you should use.
