420 should be lots of power for that. What levels are the rails at? How much do they fluctuate from the 5 and 12v? +/- 10% or more could cause random reboots.
It's quite possibly time for a better power supply. Sparkle, Antec, Enermax and Ultra Products are all good brands to choose from and offer a great value. Anywhere between 400-450 watts should provide ample power.

antec is NOT good... Ultra is decent, but no where near the quality of enermax/sparkle/fortron.

and 420W from a generic supply is not even close to 365W of a good psu.

This is also assuming that the PSU is even the cause.

I've sold enough antec PSU's and used enough of them personally to not have any problems recommending them. You're one of the few people I've come across that doesn't like them, but that's your opinion.

Well, in the 4 years that I've sold computer parts, I've had 0 sparkle units go bad on me, 1 enermax go bad due to user error, and approximately 10% of antecs go bad. What would you rather have? A better unit for less cost (sparkle) or a decent unit for more cost (antec).

In terms of GOOD, RELIABLE, AFFORDABLE, DEPENDABLE, power supplys, antec does not make the list.

Ditto, I nor any of my friends who are heavily into gaming, big rigs have never had a problem with ANTEC power supplies, i highly recommend it.

same here, but as long as you spend the money one one of the nice name brands you should be fine. i have a thermaltake 480W running a A64 3000, 3 hds, 3 opticals, 9600xt, 3 fans, and a cathode

MGE is also a good option. They're one of the lesser known brands who makes good shit.

My MGE 500w powered my dual CPU rig no prob. Voltages kick ass, too.

It also weighs about 5-6 pounds.
