ps2 to laptop???

  1. I'm taking a road trip with the wife and kids and am planning some on-road entertainment. I've figured out a way to hook their PS2 to the portable dvd player, but it's only a 7" screen. Is there a way to hook the PS2 up to a laptop so they can use it's larger screen? I talked to some dork at radio shack, but he seemed like he really didn't know what he was talking about and said that only one company makes an adaptor to do that and it costs $100.

Well yeah it's going to cost money because laptops don't generally have a video input, so don't expect a cheap solution.

  3. That sux. I'm not gonna spend big bux so the kids can use the laptop for a couple of weeks to play video games. They'll have to be satisfied w/ the dvd player screen.

You might be able to buy a USB tv tuner card and run the PS2 through it.
