I don't want to say this any more because ya'll will steal/buy my shit.

But PPU 75 gr OTM is $435 per 1K.

Why M855 would EVER be priced beyond match ammo is completely beyond me. A lot of people buy M855 thinking it's steel core will aid with penetration. Objective testing has found M855's performance against auto bodies and glass to be lacking compared to modern bonded bullets.

I'd personally pass on this and wait for prices to drop, but that's just because i've got enough ammo to last me for a while.

Edit: Thanks for sharing though OP, ammo alerts are always appreciated.

Edit 2: Looks like $438 per K without shipping.

That stuff is more for stockpiling for a rainy day, esp at that price.

If you wanted cheap plinking ammo, you could call AIM surplus. They've got Centurion 55 gr FMJ/BT reloads ~$320 per K. Not posted on the website. It's brass cased and people don't have issues with it... mostly because it's loaded to low velocities. You won't notice the difference target practicing though.

They also have Wolf for $305 if you want it for cheap plinking. Or wait until M193 comes back in stock for $370.
