    protein

I read the sticky on protein after talking to a friend about.

After looking over my diet I see I am probally eating around 30 - 40 grams of protein a day.

In the sticky it mentions a average male can lose 55grams a day I think it said.

I'm trying to get into the swing of eating right and working out, I have some fat to loose.

What would be a good amount of protein for me to take in on a daily basis and what is a good way of getting it.

I looked around and seen they make shakes for protein, but the stuff is expensive.

any ideas and suggestion would be helpful :wavey:

well, you could drive out to the country and hunt down some deer, or chickens or something. gram per gram whey is the cheapest protien you can buy. (pretty sure)

    30-40 grams?

Son, I'm 6'2 160 and I eat at least 100g/day just from normal food, while i'm sick with no appetite. i doubt you were accurately measuring the amount unless you eat a 3 calorie diet.
