quick question.. from what ive heard your supposed to take 1g of protein for every lb u weight. i weigh 143 so i would obv take 143g total throughout a day.

Is this too much protien to take? 2 scoops in morning, 2 before work out, and eating chicken/steak/tuna throughout the day. 4 scoops=like 120 ish plus eating should be over 143.

my question is can getting to much protien turn into fat? im trying to cut a lil in the stomach regein. i do cardio everyday, but will the high protein even it all out so im not losing anything

I'm sure this is in a sticky: if you eat too much protein it just gets converted to carbs, it doesn't magically turn into fat.

If you're lifting seriously you could get more protein than 150 and it definatley not hurt you.

1g per lb of LEAN BODY MASS

    ex:

    240lb 29% bodyfat

About 160lb lean body mass, so around 160g/day
