We're an hour behind you - it's 8:30. I get to work at 7:30 and stay til 5:30.

And yes, it tastes much more like a fruit smoothie. I'm so fucking sick of chocolate/oats/peanut butter smoothies I could PUKE..

Super Pump 250 is a Gaspari NOX product used for pre-workout supplements. It's similar to Red Blast or any of those other NOX supp's.. Gives me great energy for lifts and grappling - highly advise it or Red Blast.

i know it's silly, but i avoid soy usually. you need to consume lots of it every day for it to matter i'm sure, but it does promote estrogen production.

Depends on what time of day it is and what I have just done (exercise etc)

In the morning I generally take:

2 x scoops of either Choc Orange/Strawberry/Banana Protein
1 x scoop flax seed oil
2 x scoops of finely blended oats
    1 x banana

    Pre-workout

    1 x scoop Protein
    1 x scoop oats
1 x spoonful of peanut butter

    Post workout

    1 x scoop protein
    1 x waxy maize starch
    1 x flax seed oil

Nothing fancy, but because I've 3 different flavoured tubs of protein, I don't get sick of the flavours.

Don't forget about The Angry Whopper. I hope its still around after my fight.

So guys, EDU me on protein shakes.

I'm working on losing weight still, I'm chilling at a constant 165 right now and kind of stalling out. I have a pretty healthy diet now that I quit eating out. Would there be any benefit to me drinking a protein shake everyday? Would it effect my weight positively or negatively?

Muscle is built from protein. Eat/drink a lot of protein to be strong. It has a calorie count just like any food you eat - use it as part of your daily intake and if you want to lose weight, eat less cals or burn more cals and if you want to maintain - do what you're doing now.

I'd take out a snack you eat now and add in a protein shake. You should take in one gram of protein for every pound you weigh, each day. So 165 grams of protein per day for you.

when you guys lift what do you do?
i was doing this who i got from my friend who trained at MFS.. critique.. offer changes advice etc..

    3 rounds 1 min rest

    1 round =
10 reps of each bench press, shoulder press, deadlift but pull all the way up to neck, bicep curls, jump squats with weight plate, abs with someone throwing medicine ball at you, sit on mat and go side to side with medicine ball, 2 min sprint on treadmill

i won't get into the specifics of why it's so great, but it's definitely a good idea. if weight's a huge concern just don't add too much shit to make it taste better or heavier than it needs to be. i like to drink one as soon as i wake up, because after however many hours of fasting your body is catabolic.
taking it before working out is also a good idea to, among other things, help prevent muscle break down, and after is good for recovery. especially if you get one loaded with BCAA's.

i don't get the deadlift to the neck part....so you do a deadlift and then you do an upright row?

circuits like that are great, but it all depends on your goals. the one you posted will get you in good shape, give you good muscular endurance, etc, but you won't be putting on any mass really

yea exactly.. you start from the ground do a deadlift and continue it into an upright row.. and then back down..

im fattie kid.. no need for mass :)

and i cant even get to the 3rd round.. i usually can't continue half way into the 2nd

Protein is just a cost effective way to get a protein boost. If you are going to take only one a day, take it Post-workout. Since you're cutting, protein could help limit any real muscle loss.

Take it with water (which, IMO, makes it taste like shit compared to milk...) and don't add (too many) carbs to it, like most of the guys above do (including me).

If anybody thinks I'm wrong, please correct me!

And how many brackets did I just fit into one sentence, (fuck!)?

    .

BCAA are the most under-used supplement IMO. I think that every person who weight trains, or competes should take them.
