Protein Question

    I weigh 175lbs. Im pretty skinny. Not alot of muscle. I recently got a membership to the gym. Ive started lifting every other day. My friends are bigger than me, have lifted for alot longer, and all drink a shit ton of protein shakes. So I went and bought a huge bag of it today.

    Question is, to get bigger, should I start drinking them right away after workouts? or should I wait until I get a little bigger and my body is more used to lifting?

    I really want to take them just so im not as sore the next day. Thanks in advance for help. I can use all the information I can get, Im new to this!:wiggle:

    I dont eat any shitty foods anymore. No soda. Sometimes I drink beer ( but always less than 6 and its always Michelob Ultra Light). I really just wanted to get cut, but Ive changed my mind. I want to get bigger and cut.

    My real question is- am I just going to get fatter by drinking protein shakes ( since I just started working out) or is it going to help me?

    basically down that shit as much as you can. dont worry about fat at all if you got just a whey protien powder then all it will do is build lean muscle. try to eat alot during the whole day to. oh and what kind of protien did you get

    Dude, it dosent really matter all that much when you take it. Drink your protein right now and just make sure your on point and dont miss your shake meals.

    within an hour should be fine, wont make much of a difference
