So I just recently added protein supplement to my diet. Before this, I was basically living on pasta, vegetables, and chicken (I would get 30 grams of proteins a day). I just had a protein shake a little bit ago (23 grams protein) and I now feel like I might puke. I'm not sure if this is from the protein or not, but has this ever happened to anyone else?

Edit: This is my first week on protein, and maybe I'm just sick becuase my head feels warm too.

It's On whey protein. Chocolate flavor. The other times I've taken it, I've felt fine. This is the first time I've had it on an empty stomach, although I'm not sure if that makes a difference.

I have a protein shake for breakfast every morning. I've noticed that i get a little queasy because of it. But i'll just grab a handful of cheerios and once i've downed them i feel fine.

I stay away from chocolate flavored supplements because it doesn't mix at all with fruit in a shake.

    Your probably just full...

I drink them every night and morning on empty stomachs and I'm fine.

I usually get headaches after having a shake (ON's chocolate) Its not really bad but it sucks when I drink one in class or trying to do homework.
