    I'd say 200g/day. I've also ready that you should try to take 1g/lb for your ideal weight. So if you want to be 200lbs, then take 200g, whether you weigh more or less than that. :dunno:

    BTW, you're not going to gain weight because of eating too much protein. ;)

    Its not a matter of believing it. The additional calories are needed for growth and protein is a better source of calories than carbs. Protein will keep a person satisfied so they eat less and still have nutrients to develope lean tissue.

    Your book might be out dated as well or playing it safe. The new info i've been reading is suggesting 10-35% of total calories come from protein. So for a 2000 calorie diet that is 50g-175g. The percentage of protein is going to depend on level of activity.

    depends on your goals as well as your carb intake. Generally speaking I would say 1g-1.5g per pound is fine. Depends on your bodyfat level too.

    Upper limit for elite athletes with extreme protein demands is 1.8 g/kg. Most people, and this includes you, only need 0.8-1.2 g/kg.

    It's a generally misunderstood number, because idiot brolies like yourself can't understand kilograms, so you just converted it to pounds. Shut the fuck up, you have no idea what you're talking about.
