Well, after horribly failing in my first attempt...i tried to make a healthy protein cake again.

    Ended up being

    Total Calories - 640 - 700

    Total Protein - 108g
    Total Carbs - 51g

I tried to cut back on the flour used (to lower the carbs) and that made it end up being a little more eggy then a normal angel food cake. (i made it like angel food cake because they are made with a high percent of egg whites to flour)

    Recipe -

2 1/2 scoops of chocolate whey protein

    1/2 cup of flour

1 3/4 cup of egg whites

    teaspoon of cream of tartar

    1 cup of Splenda

sorry boys and girls no pics

What kind of flour are you using?

If you're just using regular cake or white flour try using whole wheat or some other kind of lower GI flour.

You're mixing the flour with whey protein  that's going to change the GI anyways. If cake flour works fine (and it will work better for your purposes) don't sweat the small shit.
