    protein is acidic

too much protein and you will be acidic (stomach will hurt and digestion/absorbtion suffers greatly)

eat more alkalazing foods WITH the acidic foods to balance it out

Yes, and so does this, and this and this.

I was confused at first too, because lemons are in the alkalizing group even though they have a pH of about 2. Whey also has a pH that's less then 7. But then I found this as well:

go by the list 90% of protein is acidic. I was referring to animal protein... didn't want to go into too much detail b/c no one really reads my posts lol

all you have to do is eat some alkalzing foods + fiber to balance it out WITH the acidic foods

exactly why a long-time home cure for acid reflux is Apple Cider vinnegar. sounds strange, but it works.

So that would explain why a chicken breast alone makes me fart like crazy but a chicken breast with sweet potatoe doesnt

if u have rank "protein" farts its b/c you arent digesting/absorbing all the protein. THe left over protein is broken down in ur intestine and smells like that. Having a balanced PH along with fiber will greatly increase your absorbtion rate/digestion of protein. YOu can also add enzymes. If you eat a lot (talking 4k+ cals) digestion/absorbtion becomes a huge factor that many ppl overlook

my stomach hurts so much whenever I drink a shake. I use to do Milk + Whey but that irritated my stomach too much so I was forced to do water + Whey. Taste like shit but it causes less irritation. :wtc:
