Short of storing the car, what's the best way to protect the paint for the winter? They use alot of salt around here :hs:

Either Poorboy's Polish w/carnauba and EX-P or Klasse All in One and Sealant Glaze...wait 24 hours and top with Meguiars #16 Pro Paste Wax.

Clean your car as often as weather will allow.

    Should be very durable.

You could even put another coat of #16 on a few weeks after. :)

I just use mother's clay from Candian Tire.

Order my Poorboy's World stuff from www.eshine.ca , you can also get Meguiar's #16 there. I get all my Meguiar's stuff from the CMAX desk at the UAP NAPA store. They get it ordered in within 24hrs for me. It's great!

Bought my PC from BC at www.carcaresmart.com where you can get 303 if you want it. Zellars is the Canadian distributor for 303, but they pack it away during the winter.

EShine.ca is generally cheaper than www.carcaresmart.ca and because eshine is in Port Colborne, the shipping is cheaper too. But they still have free shipping on any order that includes a PC.

If you want S100, get it at the Harley Davidson dealership. It's $30 here in london, but from those two websites it's $38.

    hope this helps!

    that includes a PC??

So if I go with Poorboy's Polish w/carnauba and EX-P then #16, and a Meguiars clay bar. What order do I do this all in?

Wash and Clay, completely dry the car then start with the PB Polish with Carnauba and then EX-P, wait 24 hrs then put on a layer of #16

If you apply thin layers a section at a time and remove immediately, it isn't bad. Only problem is on dark colors, when you look at the paint at an angle, SG has a silvery sheen. Some like it, some don't.

I did Bill North's (from Autopia) WOWO method, and still had issues. Looked fine in the sun, brought it in the garage and flipped on the flourscent lights, and I could see it everywhere. I had to take a moisten terry pad and MF to get it off.
