Pros and cons of flat screen CRT vs curved?

    Flat screen CRTs seem to cost a little more, what is the difference aside from them being flat?

    This is from when I used to sell TV's at Best Buy, so it may not be 100% accurate.

    Flat screens give you a wider viewing angle, because you can see the entire screen from teh side. Also, you get less glare because of the nature of the flat screen. There was something else but this hangover is killing me so I'll let someone else finish up this thought for me.

    People also claim that the image on a curved screen is distorted. Personally, I don't notice this.

    It's true. Now that I've got my flat CRTs, I notice the difference when using a non-flat one.

    BTW, the flat ones are more expensive than the non-flat ones, but they're still pretty cheap. I got my Samsung 997DFs for around $300 Canadian each.
