the battery grip is gay, but not nearly as gay as the chalkboard eraser they call a grip for the 20d/30d
it takes more battery power to add in all that noise.
be glad that you have more than 3 segments of lcd for battery
The D200 went down another $100 today
try using a d1 body...battery life on that thing SUCKS
meh. I didn't need that as proof, I already knew it. :nikon:
both the D1 and the canon 1D are terrible at battery life.
the canon gets so hot after shooting for a while especially in the sun that it actually gets too hot to hold.
I had to put the grip on to take the pixture
I've never had any issues with my 30D grip or batteries. I've never even run them all the way down...
Well, to rephrase, I've never been in a situation where I didn't have enough battery power.
Maybe they should make it out of white.
yeah that would be SOOOOO COOL (no pun intended)
d200 & battery grip here with no complaints.
I found pics.
Have you ever shot more than a 1000 pictures in a day?
unless you're doing a wedding or sports the average user would never take a 1000 photos in one day.
So is that where you're saying the problem is? I'll fully charge this weekend and see what I can get.
I've never shot 1000 pictures in a weekend!
I've never gone past 250 at the most 300 shots in one weekend.
I guess the other factors are:
1: are you autofocusing or manually focusing
2: using the flash?
3: whats your photo review time at?
4: are you using the menu button alot of change features?
