Zaino is good stuff. It used to be the only product in my garage but it doesn't have the polishing "punch" that some other products from Poorboys has. Definitely good stuff though.

good stuff, but not the best. But it is up there. However a 10 dollar bottle of wax can make a car look that good with proper prep.

$15-17 for Z2 or Z5 with a $20 ZFX and $10 for Spray Enhancer. So about 45 plus 8 dollars shipping to entry level. If you order both sealants, Z8 spray seal and others it can easily reach 100. I love some of their product especially there leather conditioner and Z16 tire shine. The sealants have a place in my arsenal but I can get a better look using some different waxes and prep techniques.

I used to love Zaino when they were a small mom and pop paint shop and their polishes were exclusive (i.e. given as gifts to their customers or you could only buy a single bottle at a time). I used their products for years starting in 1989! Now their products are more designed to generate revenue and have a marketing machine behind them. There isn't anything in their chemistry that gives them a competitive advantage, in my opinion.

I think the Werkstatt system is chemically superior to Zaino based on how the paint feels when I'm finished polishing and how well the paint holds up in the Arizona heat and monsoon weather. This is all subjective and purely my opinion.

Your car looks great and I'm glad that you found a system that works for you and you're happy with the results. That is all that matters. :bigthumb:

What is it? A polish? ...I'll go google it.

    Edit: Found this "
Duragloss CCP (Clear Coat Polish) is a non-abrasive synthetic formula, which gives a "wet look" shine and durable protective coating. Durable to both acid and alkaline washes. Can be applied to the entire vehicle in the sun or shade before removing easily for a high gloss and protective coating. Not really a "polish" in my experience, just a wonderful sealant which is as easy as anything I have ever used. "

--Purely coincidence that I found this on your site Excel. Google gave you a strong hit! :)

Car looks fine but no better than any other quality product. Besides, how about uploading some direct sun shots? That is the real test of a detail job. ;)

Like Mike Phillips of Meguiars says, "find something you like and use it often". Good advice.

I used to be a Zaino Zealot myself.. but have since recinded my ways. Its good stuff, don't get me wrong, I also like how it lasts, but other products are pretty damn good too.

I use Meguir's NXT for my truck.

It's the closest shine for a mass consumer polish/wax that I have found to Zaino in terms of:

    Shine
Ease of use (applying and buffing)
    No white residue
and it almost smells just as good as Zaino.

    Zaino smells borderline consumable.

I agree with this. I find my self sniffing the bottles more then I should. Maybe they added an addictive ingredient that can be inhaled.
