I finally picked the camera back up after an intense year. Just re familiarising myself with the camera at a drift day. Its one of the final drift days at Oran Park, Sydney because theyre closing down next year unfortunately :(

It was +40 degree heat i got awesome singlet tan. I found even though pushing my ISO down as far as i could i found my images still over exposed closing up the aperture would darken the shadows horribly so i kept it at around 8-11..and shutter speed i always tried to keep it below 1/100.

Id rather learn how to fix it while shooting rather then PP. Its just a matter of investing into a polarizing filter yes? or an ND?

anyways heres a few, as always C&C is always welcome i need to up my game.

If you're talking about the brown corolla they share the same chassis as the ae86 so doesn't really count haha

    Lots of Skylines in Australia.

Anyway, nice shots. They still look a little overexposed though?

Faster shutter, would probably do it. Some of these look a little blurry too, so the faster shutter will help with that as well..

ND or CPL filters will lower your exposure a few stops if you are too worried about using a smaller aperture than f/11. Otherwise, your only option is to stop down more.

Last time I shot drifting it was ISO 200, 1/125 or 1/200, f/14. Didn't really notice any problems with shadow detail that you brought up, but it also wasn't as sunny out as it looks in your shots. Shooting with your back to the sun helps even out the lighting on the car and surroundings better too.
