I know I'm going to get flamed, but I'm going to provide a list of project cars that I want to do when I win the lottery.

Which ones would you drive on Power Tour?

1969 Camaro- 6 speed, twin turbo 427 big block (I like the displacement).
1971 Split bumper- 427 c.i. LSx motor, road racing bias. I want to destroy M3's at track days.
1978 Trans-Am. 455, 6 speed, set up for cruising and burn-outs. Nothing fancy.
    1989 Iroc-Z. 383, 700R4, it's the wife's car.
2002 Camaro SS. LS7, nothing radical.
    2010 Camaro (?) mods tbd.
1967 Mustang fastback. Superchasrged 351, 6 speed, "Eleanor".
1978 King Cobra. 347, 5 speed, road race bias.
1991 LX notch. 5.0 based motor with a turbo, manual trans, I haven't decided if I want to go for straight line or corners.
2004 Terminator. Light mods- tune, exhaust, pulley, throttle body, etc.
2008 Mustang GT. Blower, suspension, basically a GT500 without the price tag or Shelby badging.
1965 Dodge Monaco. I'm not sure about the mechanicals, but my performance goal would be to tune it like a big euro sedan- think S600, Maybach, Rolls, 760li, etc. Quick and agile, but more for long distance touring.
1968 Satellite coupe. I want it to perform like an SL65, but slightly faster in all quantitative tests.
1933 Ford Roadster. E36 M3 motor and front suspension, full Dinan kit on the motor, including forced induction.
1955 Chevy four door sedan. Upgraded E39 M5 motor, trans, suspension.
1966 Mustang. Fastback, turbo S38 (think mid-eighties BMW M6, but faster.)
    1968 Chevelle with the V12 S73 and 6 speed from a 1996 BMW 850CSi.
1965 Pontiac GTO- 455 and a 4 speed. Pro-Street, start to finish. Corners need not apply.

Obviously, I voted for all of them.

And yes, I know I'll get flamed.

    I'm clearly a GM guy.

I'm sure everybody else's "when I win the lottery" list would be different.

    Thanks.

I love the Monaco's, and I've always thought that a four door one would make a bad-ass "executive" ride. Fuck showing up to the Oscars in a Maybach.

I also said Satellite, and I meant Satellite, not RR or GTX.

I think a Satellite coupe set up for "pro-touring" with a leather interior, bluetooth, nav, etc. would be far more baller than another M6 or SL55. My .02.

"2008 Mustang, upgraded to GT500 specs."

And if you won the lottery what the hell is stopping you from buying a GT500KR?

I'm not buying one of those when I can replicate the performance for less money and retain control of the build process.

I like the idea of a 500+ horsepower 2008 Mustang, I just don't want it built by Ford and I damn sure don't want Carroll Shelby's signature all over it.

    I do.

I don't want Ford's mass produced idea of a thupercar, and I really don't want to see Shelby logo's everywhere.

I like the way the current Mustang looks, and I would love to have a 500 horse version, but I want it built my way.

you may see the first as winning due to it being the first and no one wants to read the rest, but you lost me at 04 cobra w/ typical mods and the rest kinda suck and/or are Frankenstein cars. So i had no choice but to pick the TT '69

You can click on more than one.

I thought I'd get more flaming for the cross-platform stuff.

I got hammered in another thread for the '68 Chevelle with a BMW V12 in it, but it's proved surprisingly popular here.

    C5R block
probably 18" wheels/tires for tire choice even though i'd rather have 17"s.
    6 speed
    ac
    ect

the only remotely old car I could see myself building if I had a lot of money at my disposal would be a BMW E3 Coupe, probably S54 powered. It looks about 9-10x better than anything detroit spit out in that time frame

Can I take the '78 T/A and change it to our '73 T/A with a 427 LSx swapped with the shaker scoop still on it oh and it would probably fit Twin Turbos so I'll go for that too....Also, NO rapage of the interior either, it is still mint so it can't be molested.

When you win the lottery you can do whatever you want.

When I win the lottery I'm gonna build a '78.

I have to admit, I'm disappointed.

We can go five pages over Civic Si vs. LS1 Camaro, but I get nothing over putting a forced induction BMW motor into a Mustang.

I can't say what I'd have for a project... but my driveway would look like this:

    1) BMW 335i - Dinan -Daily driver
    2) Audi R8 - I'd bust balls to get the diesel... otherwise V8
    3) New GTR

I'd then get a mid 90s blue BMW 3 series in 'vert for my wife, then a new Beetle in a yellow/cream for her as well.
