With Bill Starr's program you do the same lifts m/f, but on chris's the exercises are different, namely flat bench/incline. I understand the working to a 3 rep max that is above the established 5 rep, but this would only be possible doing squats. Any info?

The progression on Starr's program is done by working the same exercise twice a week, once on monday and then again on friday. On friday you work to a new max, but with Chris's the exercise on friday and monday aren't the same except for squats. So I was wondering how the progression works, whether you just push yourself for a new max every monday on the flat bench or what.

Bill starr has alot of routines, chris' routine is a bill starr routine, you'll have to be more specific.
