So I did a lot of full body workouts last Spring basically not knowing what I was doing and then found this forum and ultimately F&N. Armed with all the knowledge and advice from here I was much better equipped this time through as I started working out again seriously since my March-May stint.

I wish I had 'Before' pictures, but unfortunately I do not. I started working out again August 2007 with a little time off over the Winter Break (school gym was closed for 2 weeks).

Followed the workout routine stickied at the top except the Arms routine is a little different (forced negative curls, reverse grip curls, twenty-ones, weighted dips, close grip bench, etc.). Been following the diet closely as well, I can't not drink water wherever I go and love tuna now.

I'm about to turn 21 in 4 days, height is about 5'7", weight is 155-160 lbs, shitty BF% hand held meter at the school gym clocks me at around 7.5-8%, but I rely on the mirror more.

Supplements include multi, vitamin C, and two fish oil with 952 Omega-3 each daily. Currently on Green Bulge and White Blood and will try out Pure CEE and Beta-Alanine from Anafit next. Also <3 ON Double Rich Chocolate.

Wanted to see if you guys could offer any advice on what I should work on more or try out differently.

    Thanks again F&N! :wavey:

just keep what you're doing. make sure you're diet and routine are in check and you'll be solid. quit taking time off and stick with it 100%.

your bf% is probably more like 14% though, I would guess. not that it matters.

lookin good dude. just keep at it. make sure you evenly exercise your body out though, don't focus all your energy on one body part.

and yeah there's no way you're 8% bf. probably closer to 14% like giz said.

if i could recommend one thing to work on, it would be to hit your lats/traps/back more.

other than that, lookin good man. im always glad to see people take their fitness seriously.

Back and shoulder development looks solid to me. Chest and arms may need some extra work.

    Keep it up brotato

    Birthmark.

Also, I've noticed that my chest seems to be lagging behind the rest. I've switched it up from BB to DBs as this I've heard it hits the muscle more and helps develop them better because you have to stabilize the weight. Does this sound like the right plan of action?

Also, what can I do to get my lats to flare out more? I do a wide grip when doing Lat Pulls with proper form, or is there some secret technique I'm missing?

Dumbells have their place but everyone here will tell you to use barbells as your meat and potatos and use dumbells once in a while

Don't look anywhere near as heavy/lean as you're claiming. :dunno:

I find humor in how many people think they can 'see' body fat percentages.

I didn't mean to imply that I was definitely 8% @155, but rather that I knew that the hand held scale isn't accurate at all so I knew I wasn't at 8%. Unfortunately that little scale is all I really have easy access too at the moment, I need to go find a more reliable source as Spring gets closer.

That's why I tend to rely on the mirror more, I don't worry over numbers too much but rather how it actually looks. At least at this point.

 I can get within a few % usually. That's how many pros go by, photos and mirror. Justin Harris does all his clients by taking a picture.

I can't read your body fat via pictures but that is definitely not 8%. If I had to guess I'd say 12-14%

That said, the number is irellevant.. you go by how you look, which is the right thing to do.

I'd say you're clearly making progress. Delts look good. Arms and chest could do with catching up a bit IMO. Chest particularly seems to be lagging. Also, bigger traps would give you a more powerful look.

    Keep it up though!

Than you have a seriously marketable skill.

Electric body fat testing = horrid.

They make caliper's seem like god's gift to accuracy.
