Last time i posted pictures it was 4 months progress and i had just started bulking.

    for reference

    START - JUNE 6
    5'7 165lbs
    [IMG]

    4 MONTHS OCT 12
    5'7 ~ 165lbs

As of today i'm up to 180lbs. I guess some of you would say to continue to bulk, but I feel like it's time to do some cutting as this is about as fat as i feel comfortable with being. Not to mention the summer and shore house and being on the beach all weekend is coming up soon and i'd be lying if i said that wasn't important to me. Even my face looks fatter :o

    8 MONTHS JAN 27
    180lbs

    feedback? :hs:

you looked better at 165, you did some great work transforming. I would cut to 170 this time and see how it looks and compare it to the 165.

I think that's just because he's more tanned in the middle pic. At 180, his arms look notciably better. He does look like he went up a few BF%s but it still looks like a substantial protion of his weight gain was from muscle. Trunk looks visibly wider too, although it looks more loggish than X?

A good diet would do wonders for you. Keep up the good work though. Definately can see changes, just stick with it.

good diet starting on the 1st. I'm not worried about being able to do it, i've done it before. A few months prior to the Jun 6 "start" pic, i was 180lbs like i am now, but it was all fat. I had originally planned on bulking through february but i'm going to start a month early. Hopefully i'll be able to get back to at least as lean as in the 2nd pic, while keeping most of the new muscle.

    thanks for the replies/advice.

good job but i can't tell honestly cuz your arms are covering your abs in both progress pics but you still look significantly better for the short amount of time spent.

Yeah, same here. Between the armani and brooklyn shirts, coupled with the barely of age drinking...that just screams jersey shore.

But good work broly. I agree with Pur, you'd look great if you lost that little layer. The first four month transition was amazing. Keep lifting hard.

i really didnt do anything special. during most of the summer months i didnt eat much, except weekends, because i was afraid to put on fat. lots of chicken breasts, and rarely ate junk/fast food. Once the summer was over i started eating everything i could get my hands on. The middle picture was about 1 month into this, and the last picture about 4 months. I now have a fair amount of fat to cut off.

Routine was pretty standard, keep in mind i was starting from not even knowing what exercises to do and how to do them so i pretty much just followed along with what my lifting partner did (he's been lifting for years). One thing that i did do however was try to keep the reps a bit lower and go for maximum weight. Every time i was in the gym i would try for at least a few more lbs than the last time...a lot of my friends are content to do the same weights week after week, and then wonder why they aren't getting any bigger or stronger. i think it's important to constantly push yourself as hard as possible to move up.
