yeah, i just started out really really really scrawny. my chest is like the primary focus of my routine. I bench 225x5 and 1rm 255 last time i checked.

Id been working out for 2 years here... notice my abs push out further then my chest

in another thread i talked about being 240, and pics were requested. I can't actually prove what i looked like, but at least i can prove i wasnt kidding about cutting down from 240

im guessing i know what you mean, but you think my bench is good or bad for my chest?

im absolutely bouncing off the walls happy that i finally got my chest to fill out into my shoulders.

are you working your chest when you bench or just trying to get big bench numbers? cause I bet its the second.

    big numbers i guess.

on the other hand i use a wide grip, always full rom, no bounce... So while i may be concentrating more on heavy weights, i am not outright cheating.

Keep in mind i am 6'4. The guys who are anything like me but have that solid look are all monsters.

plenty of people are skinny when they start out.. i'm still only at 161lb, but have made sure to keep an eye out for gaining mass not fat.

    it's not easy :wtc:

had to look it up. no, my chest definitely started flat as far as i can tell. i don't know what passes for slight.... :dunno:

    :eek3: :wtc:

Im starting to get curious about my abs as well. I always assumed i was just carrying too much fat to see them, but now im really getting leaner then i would have thought i would have had to be to see em. I can feel them under a bit of fat still, but i dunno... maybe they are under developed or maybe they are just genetically the flat kinda abs? i dunno, but its starting to piss me off. I don't want to get any skinnier

too much bicep focus, you look fine as an average highschool prepy.. But you need to develop the rest of your body.

any other feedback? Anyone have any other opinions on my abs?

are they under developed? genetically weird? am i still somehow carrying too much fat? is the flash making it impossible to even get a reasonable idea whats going on?

Im assuming if anything else was really glaringly off i would have heard about it by now.

I think you guys are overestimating how big my biceps are. take a look at the picture from march. They are definitely not way ahead of everything else, i just get a lot of peak on em which i think makes em look bigger. I hardly ever do more then 2 sets a week of direct bicep work. Mostly just chins/pullups/rows.

I'm surprised how big my shoulders look. I just started doing shoulder isolation work maybe 6 months ago (rear delts were laggin a bit).
