    Background:

I've been lifting non-stop for about a year now. Before then, I'd lifted but always took large chunks of time off. Back then and up until about September my lifting sucked and my diet was even more horrendous. My diet still kind of sucks, but whatever. I still look like crap unflexed :hs:.

I wanted to wait a year, but I'm leaving out of state for the next month. Constructive comments negative/positive much appreciated. With that said, here are the pics.

I'm 150 in current pic, was about 139 in the first. 5'5,

When you do a back double bi, make your arms parallel with your shoulders, otherwise it makes it look like you have t-rex arms.

I do. In fact, of everything my legs and back have made the most improvement. But, I usually squat on the machine :greddy:.

My legs/knees suck and when doing it from the squat rack, I often cheat or use poor form to alleviate pain. So unless I'm feeling stellar, I do the machine. Weak I know.

I don't think I've ever loaded more than 225 and did 5 back in September.

    Good job thus far.
It is difficult - but diet is extremely important. It took me a long time to figure this out. I started out at the same weight as you, and you will find yourself hitting a plateau shortly if you do not focus on your diet.

It is the easiest thing to overlook - but IMO one of the most important, especially if you do not pack on weight easily.

On your physique, I would focus on your chest - but good progress.

    :bowrofl: to the prison tattoo.

You can see a lot of improvement in the back double bi.

That's the good thing about being short, you gain 10lbs and you can really tell. I gain 10lbs and you can't see shit. :greddy:

thanks. plan to get the tattoo changed one day, but it is still going to be a cross :squint:

About eating ... I've been trying to cut and doing that without too much results up until the last few weeks. I get good food cooked for me often and have a hard time turning it down. Will be moving very soon and it won't be an issue.

What do you recommend for chest? Or routine?
    Routine is here http://forums.offtopic.com/showthread.php?t=3786011

    My chest workout -->
    Chest
4x10 Flat Bench, alternate BB and DB depending on how I feel.
3x10 Incline. Usually DB unless I have a spotter
3x10 Cable Flies (coming from top)
    3x10 Cable Flies (from bottom)

wtf trying to cut are you serious?

edit: reacted on emotion there instead of reason, but dude...

you're very lean and your chest almost looks sunken in. I would put on weight, not cut.

    Just me personally :dunno:

Good work mippity. Agree with above comments, more chest, less rest.
BTW, man your hair has really leaned up...amazing!!! You must have had a hell of a workout partner to have made those kind of improvements here recently. To bad you are going to seriously deflate during your month at the beach. the important thing is that you and that creep dude without his shirt on have a great trip down there. Rest stops all the, ftl.

Good work there son. As a suggestion though, when you snap progress pics etc from the front do it in a relaxed pose with your lats flared out like a bodybuilder. That goofy hand clenched most muscular pose your doing looks silly and makes it difficult to really gauge your physique and gains.

lol. bad poses I know.:hs: I had no idea how to pose when I started taking progress pics ... but I figured that I should continue with some because w/out, it is harder to compare the old ones with the present.
