    So yesturday everything was fine..

When I turned my computer on this morning both my optical drives were not working..

    It says :

Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware. (Code 37)

Ive tried unstalling the driver and when I re boot... Vista recognizes the drive is there.. but it says it cant install the driver.

Now.. to add to the mystery.. I tried to plug in (USB) my external DVD RW and it wouldnt load the drivers for it.

ALL two drives (three with the external USB DVD rw) drives show up on the device manager page... but none of them are working.

    Anyone know whats going on?

Save it as a .reg file(using notepad) and run it. Reboot and your drives should be back in order.

    :wavey:

It's a known problem in XP and Vista, typically has to do with burning software like itunes, nero..that sort of thing. No telling as to what caused yours, but it works now!
