For some reason, when I double click any icon on my desktop, like, lets say....the My Documents folder, it will not open it, but instead, it wll open a search window as if im searching for a file. So when I try to right click the icon, i notice that "Seach" is first on the list instead of the usual "Open". I want to know how I can re-arrange the right-click menu so that Open is first on the list and when I double click the program or icon, it will open..Please help me...

"my documents" is not a folder - it is a pointer to a folder. right click, properties, and select the correct location. if this happens with program shortcuts it means the destination specified does not exist
