Problem with pull-downs

    whats up guys.

    Well, im getting back into lifting, but im not new to it.

    On my back days, one of my excersises is pull downs. Now, the problem si everytime i do them, i dont feel shit in my back, the only place i feel it is in my biceps and forearms.


    what am i dong wrong?

    Well, you're doing the movement wrong. Do as if you were pulling your elbows down.

    make your fingers into hooks and just pull down with your elbows.

    you may also want to lighten the weight up until you can isolate your lats

    word. pull them 'bows; keep the reps slow and controlled - and make sure to flex your lats when you peak the rep.

    x2. i get more ROM one handed.


    when pulling down, flex your lats and pull with your elbows. imagine making half circles with your elbows. use a overhand hook grip (thumbs on top of bar).

    That's a thumbless grip, not a hook grip.
