Ever since I started my new diet, I have been shitting profusely daily. My shit comes out in a liquid chunky form also. Is this common for bulkers? My new diet consists of around 4900 calories, 143 g fat, 519 g carbs, and around 390 g protein. I weight around 162 pounds. Too much protein maybe?

Do you really need that many calories to gain weight?

Not heavily experienced on bulking yet.. but my guess would be your cals, carbs, and protein levels are insane man. You're going to put on a lot of weight, and I'm not sure its going to be in the form of lean muscle mass.

Not sure how long you've been eating like that, but if it were me I'd start out at a few hundred cals over maint and work from there.

And you really only need 1g-2g of protein per BW... for you, 225-250 is plenty.

Your bowel is coming from your diet.. what are you eating?

I just started this diet yesterday. Before, I have been eating around 3500 calories with around 230 g protein. Right now, my calories are coming from eggs, 3-4 protein shakes, milk, chicken, oatmeal, brown rice, wheat bread. 7 meals a day.

No one can for sure say what the problem is, but there is no denying that your carbs and protein are too high. I would lower each and see how your stomach/bowels adjust to it.

4,000 cals, 400g carbs, 200g protein is PLENTY. You body is probably freaking out because you are taking in way more stuff then it can handle and its going in to "shit-frenzy" mode to try and keep up.

    Just me .02

    how much fiber you injesting?

Also, I would not have done a 1400+ calorie/day jump. I would have only added 200-300/day each week and find which one is only to ultimately gain you the best results without layers of fat getting added causing bulking is worthless if it is just fat being added.

Well I pretty much am against bulking anyways since I agree that it just gives people an excuse to eat crappy food and get fatter without feeling guilty.

looks like your intake is alot higher than it needs to be. work your way up so your body can adjust to everything extra it has to digest.
