Finally shot my AR today, put about 300 rounds down range. Only problem I had with it, aside from the fact that I like my ak so much better, is that the pin holding the trigger in place kept creeping. Every now and then it would creep so much that one end would not be touching the receiver, causing the gun to fire twice with one trigger pull. How would I go about fixing this problem?

    TIA:wavey:

ar15.com has a fix for it, but the site is down right now.

Your pins shouldnt be coming that far out. Are you sure you seated the spring correctly? The spring should be seated in a groove on the pin. Check that. If its seated correctly, you can get anti-walk pins. They are basically replacement pins for the hammer and trigger. They are threaded, and you screw a piece to hold both of them to the receiver. They run about $30 and looks neat :o

Thanks for the link. I checked the spring and it wasn't seated properly in the groove. Got it fixed, I'll find out if it took care of the problem on Wed or Fri.

I might go again on Wednesday morning, don't have class till 5:15. Plus, I'd like to make sure it's all working properly before the shoot.
