I recently bought sims 2 and created images of the 4 cds. Tryed installing the game using the images and found that my computer wouldn't tell me when it needed to change the cd's just gave me a error message saying that it can't find the .dat file that it needed (because its on a different cd) I tried replacing the image with the next image that is needed and still has the same problem.
If anyone has any ideas could they fire a few at me, anything right now would help.

Yes I have tried installing it using the cd's and it works fine just doing so kind of kills the idea of having a set of back up cd's.

Anyway I have the Disk Images and the problem is they are not prompting me to change cds which makes the installer have a fit because it cant find the files its looking for.

    anyone know what to do?
