so i installed a winxp just incase i ever need it (through boot camp)

i tried to run the driver install off the leopard DVD but it wont let me because the install says its SP1 :dunno:

so i need to get online to upgrade to SP2 but i have no internet until i can run the drivers off the CD

i tried going to vmware to use a shared internet but i cant get online through there either.

    any suggestions? :dunno:

slipstream (or download) an SP2 disc.

It's what I did after trying to jump through hoops, but it was easiest in the end to just start with an SP2 install.

the problem was the fact that it was a 64 bit XP install, i just switched to a 32bit sp2 disk since i'll just be using windows for basic tasks i dont really care.

Just download sp2 in os x, burn to a disk and then upgrade the xp installation. That is what I did.
