problem running logon scripts with XP

    I have some logon scripts running flawlessly in AD but only problem is the last few months i have been deploying XP machines and the Scripts are not running most of the time :dunno:


    anyone have a similar issue?

    it is properly pointing to the right batch file

    I have had a few PC's do this in the past. It is completely hit and miss. On a certain problem PC, I have just created a shortcut in their startup path. (Not the way I want it to work, but mine is strictly for Network Drives and Printers)

    If you ever get a definitve answer, let me know.

    It's most likely a permissions issue, I found using MS's built in space on the PDC for logon and logoff scripts is the best place for scripts to be executed.
