Everytime I try to install Flash, it will install fine, no errors etc...but when I first try to launch it, the icon bounces a couple of times in the Dock and then disappears and the application doesn't open. I've tried repairing permissions, but to no avail. I've been able to install other applications and they operate just fine, so I can't figure out why this is giving me a problem.

    Anyone have any ideas? :x:

No, I purchased it from TKA. :hsugh:

And I also forgot to add that I had it installed and it was working just fine...but I recently had to reinstall the system software and when I went to install Flash again, it doesn't work even though I am using a valid serial number.

Are you accidently lunching the installer instead of the program?

Yeah, I am launching the application itself, not the installer. :wtc:

I finally got out of initation and have wanted to weigh into this question. Have you tried going to Username>Library>Preferences and moved the Flash 04 preference file to your desktop and tried opening the program? It will create a new preference in when you do so and should work. If it does, you can just trash your other preference file.

I would say it's time to call Macromedia's Tech Support.
