How in the name of fuck can people use those things?

The advertising focuses so hard on absorbency and dryness, so these must be huge problems with pads...which leads me to believe that they basically stay wet and sloppy til removed, despite claims of improvement.

    :ugh:

I dont use them because i find them uncomfee and nasty and stinky the only time i used them was after i gave birth to my children when tampons were not an option..

Maxi pads are slimy and gross.. and they stay that way untill you change them which is like every hour if you use them atleast with tampons you change them every 3-4 hours

I use them on the days when my periods are incredibly heavy (I ususally use them both at the same time then).
I've never had problems with them being slimy or disgusting if I used them properly and changed them when I was supposed to.

    I'll explain for him.

He means: "I am stupid and by 'u need help' I mean that I need help."

There, now that that has been clarified....

when I was younger I used pads, I had no problem with them being slimy/gross. If you change them regularly and buy good ones, you shouldn't really have a problem.

But once I became active in athletics, I switched to tampons, and those are fine as well.

but these days I hardly ever get my period and if I do, I just use a pantyliner or an ultrathin pad

I'm using them now but only because I'm having surgery next week on a related area. Otherwise, I despise them.

I never use pads myself. I did when I first got my period, but I was ecstatic to move on to tampons instead (after I got the hang of 'em) I do have some pantyliners laying around just in case. But I've never opened the package. I personally find pads incredibly uncomfortable and smelly.

:mamoru: :o I've never gotten any complaints from my husband when I have to use pads or when I used to use them.

 to OP attendance. My feelings about this product are largely valid, it seems...
