I'm just a little worried, so I figured I'd throw it out there and see if anyone can ease my worries.

I got my tongue pierced.. 2-3 weeks ago... healing nicely.

But right now I also have a really horrid throat infection, dark colored flem, coughing nonstop... Is there any chance that this could infect my tongue? I've been using scope more often for the last couple days and I'm pretty worried. Anyone know?

^^AFAIK, that's not a statement you can really make. I've heard from talking to a piercer it could take a month to 6 weeks, especially if you smoke or drink while you heal.

if your throat is irritated etc.. right now might not be the time to get a new bar. give it until you're done with the flu or whatever you have.

as far as the piercing, it should be close to healed so just make sure to brush and use mouthwash like normal.

okay, so its been like 5 weeks or something since i got mine done.
    its pretty good.

noticed this the other day though:

looks like my tongue is trying to grow over it or something?
at first i thought it was just a bit of gunk and tried to swab it off but yeah, its a bit more than that.

dont really know what im trying to say... isa it anything to worry about? how can i get rid of it?

I agree with ThatGuy. It's all a natural defense mechanism.
