I have a GL2 and it has worked great for me so far. I am looking into getting an HD cam in the same class as my GL2. Any suggestions?

XH-A1 is pretty nice. I haven't personally shot with one however though.

I started out on a Canon XL1-S, quickly grew tired of the shoulder-mount and the lack of manual controls, and bought a Panny DVX-100b. Incredible camera. It's SD however.

If you need HD, I'd look hard at the HVX to be honest. However, the P2 cards get so goddamn expensive, it's a lot more money to be sinking in.

If you have the time, read this article: http://www.dvxuser.com/articles/xha1/

compares the DVX vs XH-A1. Both are incredible HD cameras.

What do you shoot? I might be able to help better knowing :big grin:

    Thanks for the review! :eek3:

I worked at a church in Memphis and I had a GL2 to do video projects and stuff for them. I'm moving to Houston and taking my GL2, so they need a few HD cams to replace it. They are getting 16:9 HD projectors and screens, so they can utilize HD cams and they wanted to know what they should get.
:werd: on the P2 cards.. $2000 for an 8 gb card?!?
    Thanks again!
