A couple shots from today. The Pros came out to a local track to practice for the first round of the 12 race schedule for the Nationals. It was  but damn, it was HOT! :hsd:

    1. Factory Honda was out in force. Nothing like a couple 100K+ bikes. :yum:

    2. Tyla Rattray. World MX2 champion. He was fast.

    3. Ivan Tedesco. He was hauling ass and looked almost as fast as Ryan Villopoto

    4. Ryan Villopoto was on fire. He was hauling ass.

    5. Andrew Short is going to be another big contender. Top three in points for two years running. Not bad at all.

Factory Bikes are Ballin'. All titanium, magnesium, and the best of the best parts. They're a work of art.

Nice shots.. I think $100K might be a little bit of an exaggeration though.. maybe if you are factoring R&D then yes.. But my friend is a factory Honda rider and I don't think physical cost is nearly that high. I could be wrong though.. will ask him. :p

Thanks Everyone. I'll be heading to the Glen Helen Nationals tomorrow so expect a shit load more pics like these.

I looked for the quote in Transworld MX about how expensive these bikes really are. Every part is one off. Everything is billet aluminum/magnesium/titanium. The forks alone are worth 15K . You add up all of that, plus R&D and all the spare parts ( they have like 3 bikes they use for parts) you have one totaly badass expensive bike.

and thanks, I'm glad you liked the shots.
