BIG thanks to bbp for hooking this shoot up.
    mah nga :bigthumb:

Had the pleasure to shoot the Team Bahati Foundation pro cycling team. This is by far the biggest group I've shot, but am very pleased with the results. In total there were 9 group shots. Most of them on tripod and standard-boring team stuff. But I had a little bit of freedom to snap off one "V" shot, and a staggered elite team shot. If you know anything about pro cycling I'm sure you know a few of these fellas ;)

It's a shame that in that first picture Hilton Clarke (dude next to the white guy with the fro) isn't staggered enough. They better use this shit on their website.

    Nice job bro!

    Exactly, damn.

Great shots though the V (less the above comment) is perfect and well lit.

    Cool stuff! :bigthumb:

There was a point in the shoot where Clint asked one of the team managers if Rahsaan could hold the bike up over his head (I think Clint has been reading too many bicycling magazines). The dude just looked at Clint like he was a moron and said "no". :mamoru:

only critique about the V shot is that it might have been cool if they were lined up by height, otherwise these are great quality shots as usual.

    Makes sense! :bigthumb:

Rahsaan Bahati (born 13 February 1982) is an American racing cyclist who rides for and manages the Bahati Foundation Pro Cycling team. He specializes in criterium racing and track cycling.[1] In 2000 he won the amateur USCF National Criterium Championships and in 2008 he won the elite USPRO National Criterium Championships.[2] It was reported that in 2010, Rahsaan will be the subject of a new television series entitled Bahati:Out of Compton that details his mentoring of 6 champion cyclists that share his inner-city Los Angeles roots.[3]

We prob could've done something like this if they gave Clint more time. The whole shoot was around an hour.

I hate when clients want to rush a shoot. It adds stress and limits creativity.

I understand their time crunch though. They were in the middle of a training camp so they had a ton of stuff to do. It didn't help though that they were almost an hour late to the location since they couldn't read a map.

This is normally why most cycling teams have really shitty team photos. All they have time for is a group shot and really quick head shots.
