    Hey guys!

Looking to upgrade to perhaps the new 15" MBP. It's just so sexy. I bought this bad-boy back in Christmas of 06. Here are the specs:

    MacBook Pro
    -17" Glossy Display 1680x1050
-2.33GHz Intel Core2Duo Processor with 4MB Shared Level 2 Cache
    -2GB of 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM (PC2-5300)
    -160GB 5400rpm
    -ATI Mobility Radeon X1600
    -8x SuperDrive (DVD+R DL/DVD+/-RW/CD-RW)
    -Leopard

And then all the usual goodies. Still have original box and the remote. She's in almost perfect condition. Maybe 1 or 2 external scratches that would need to be pointed out to even find.

Do you guys think you could help me out and tell me what I should be asking for something like this? Or the best way I could go about selling it? Or if it is even worth jumping up to the new 15" MBPs?

I'm not too up with the times, so I'd be very gracious if you guys would help me out. If I end up selling this thing/trading and get the new 15" MBP, whomever helped I'll randomly select 3 of you guys and buy you subs.

    Thank you so much everyone.

 Thanks man. Or guys I should say.

So I could get away with asking for 1500+?

And is it worth the upgrade or what?

for 1500 it might take a bit to sell it aim high with an obo and they will talk you down to your asking price, craigslist will sell faster than any other method

Word, that's usually my method. I put it at $1700 OBO.

I'm sure I'll get a few "what are you fucking crazy?" e-mails but that's okay. Someone will offer me in the 1500 range.

If this baby gets sold and I pick up my MBP you're looking at a sub <3

I wouldn't trust that site. I just sold my MacBook for $930 and the site is telling me $720. :hs:

    Seriously? Damn!

I'm about to list my black macbook up for sale; 2.2Ghz C2D, 4GB RAM, 160GB 5400RPM HDD, 10.5.6. Includes Mini-DVI to DVI and Mini-DVI to VGA adapters, apple remote, all original accessories and packaging. Also comes in an Incase neoprene sleeve. Looks and runs as-new....

How much should I be asking? :noes: Site says $850.

I'm also considering including my fully legit copies of VMWare Fusion and Vista Ultimate, just to sweeten the deal...
