i need some help with printing photos.

when i print pictures out of photoshop they appear pixelated on the paper even though they are perfectly clear images on screen.

i have no experience with print, so i need some help. is there a setting somewhere i'm missing or something?

    thanks.

Adjust the DPI to at least 150 *-*

Depends on the size you are printing versus the picture you have on the computer. What resolution is the picture on the computer and how big are you trying to print?

Heres the 20 second low down:

Images are made up of colored dots. Those dots form an image. DPI means dots per square inch. The average DPI of an image on your computer is 72. The industry standard for print medias is 300. Stick with 300dpi and you will be fine.
