    hey OTAP.

quick question, does it seem awkward to print 8x12s? i usually print 8x10s, but i no longer want to crop my images to 8x10 (lose too much of the image at times). but the physical print seemed too elongated and didn't look normal. is there another way to print 8x10s and not crop it

btw, sams's club prints cost $1.47 for 8x10 or 8x12 and they have a very sweet 'lustre' finish. screw buying my own printer.

there isn't a way to print 8x10 unless you want to crop it. pretty much the solution is just keep in mind when you are shooting that you are going to be cropping it...so just shoot looser, if that makes sense.

I went through the same thing printing at stores...I ended up just resizing the canvas to 8X10 and making it white. You can either cut it afterwards or leave it as is.

Continue to print at 8x12" and buy 8x12" mat frames at mpix.com.

exactly how I feel. Between photo paper and ink and the printer I think it is much cheaper to upload prints to a pro lab.
