Printer problem, black ink

    i have an old epson stylus color 600...and i just put a new black cartridge in.....but it doesn't print. the color prints just fine is just the black ink that doesn't...when i try to print something black (ex. text) it would just look and sound like it is printing but nothing comes out...anyone know why??

    i did the nozzle cleaning and stuff and no differnece

    Bad cartridge, installed wrong, protective material not removed (HP has tape over the nozzels, can't remember what Epson does)

    Also, I believe that with Epson, when you replace the ink, you're replacing only the ink, not the print nozzels like with HP. So maybe the black nozzels are clogged beyong the cleaning utility's ability to clean them. Back to the store.
