    From Jeff Monson's blog:

    "hey

This morning i found out the Bodog fight wil not be happening now, but im set to fight in Japan for the Pride show on the 30th March against Kazuyuki Fujita. Its been crazy this last couple of weeks with all the changes, but this is a definate go ahead now. sorry for all the confusion. Im still in England now training down at Red Corner doing stand up, and hopefully with Braulio Estima some time this week for my grappling. My training is going good and im in fairly good shape now. thanks to everyone for the support.

    jeff"

"The pride show will more than likely be shown on pay per view in the States but ill find out for sure and let you know when i know. Im leaving England today and heading off to Berkeley, California to do a couple of seminars, one on the Friday and then again on the Sunday. I will also be going to an Anarchist book fare to give a little talk. ive got a busy weekend ahead of me, but ill still get my training in. A friend of mine Scotty is also bringing in some good guys for me to train with while im in California, and then ill head back off to England to train before going to Japan."

This is going to be awesome. Two powerhouses wrestling hard at it with the occassional bomb haymakers thrown in. Someone is gonna get knocked out.I dont think it will be Fujita either

More importantly, this means freakshow match of Mark Hunt vs. Zulu Jr.

I dont know why Hunt gets freak fights, hes a great fighter and deserves more serious competition.

Anyway, go Monson, I would love to see him win.

So the bodog fight is not happening, or Jeff is not fighting in it?? Isn't that the one featuring Fedor vs. Lindland??

Jeff Monson was supposed to fight Fedor during the first Bodog PPV. After Jeff Monson got beat up by Tim Sylvia, Fedor said that Jeff Monson would not be a good opponent for him to face during Bodog's debut. Bodog replaced Monson with Matt Lindland. According to this thread Monson will be fighting Fujita at Pride 34.
