So I'm in the finals for a contest to have one of my photo's displayed at the Noyes Museum of Art for a 'Weird NJ' exhibit. One of the things they want from me is a listing price for the work if it gets displayed.

It would be a 20x24 canvas stretched print, of an OTAP favorite:

    Thoughts on the price?

also, the instructions say that the print must be 'framed, wired, and ready to hang'...

Does this mean no canvas? Or would a stretched canvas fit the 'framed' requirement?

Side note - would you even go canvas with this shot? Hmmm...

Pricing, no idea. Billy Mays (PBUH) would say $19.99 and if you order now you get not 1, but 2 prints AND 3 sets of Hercules Hooks.

For the stretched canvas, I would imagine that would fit the "framed" requirement. I'm sure they just mean not to send rolled prints that they have to find a frame for.

As far as printing that on canvas, I'm sure it would look good, and maybe that type of display is part of your artistic style. I also think that picture would really pop on some Endura Metallic. Also, it seems a teeny bit pelfed CW.

I like it. Canvas that can be hung on wall, would be considered 'Framed'.

I have no idea on price. What do you want for it?

Well, if you're selling prints, don't you want it to look the best it can?

Jared, i wouldn't throw that one on canvas... you want it sharp and you just won't get that on a canvas print. Shelling out a few bucks for the Endura Metallic probably isn't a bad idea.

that would look fucking insane in metallic. I think. If I get picked, I'm gonna order a 12x16 in metallic immediately to see how it looks...

The rules state 'not larger than 24x36 in either orientation', so i'll have to figure out what size to get the print after mat and frame...

    Hmmm..
