What would this cost for you guys?

AVN 2454 Headunit install (has nav and dvd, no brain) all brackets mounts provided.

Two AMPS (one component amp and one sub amp)

Set of 6.5 Components with stock locations and no modifications needed in order to set it up correctly.

    Wiring to sub and components.

Subbox is already constructed - covered - just need to hook up the speaker wire for this.

Amp RACK with red vinyl to match my red leather

    Dual AMP Kit

    Viper Alarm install (quality model)

I am being quoted right at 700.00 for all of this, and I don't have time to do the install myself although I understand what it takes, it still seems a little steep.

Not bad considering they're doing an alarm. Does the alarm need any extra parts to install? It seems like an average price to me. Not sure what prices are like in TN though.

    Low balling the prices:

Head unit -50, 75 per amp, 200 for the alarm, 100 for the component speakers plus a couple hundred for a vinyal amp rack + install. That's $700 without the discount you probably would have gotten if you had bought your equipment through them.

Some shops out here would charge closer to the $800-900 range had the equipment not been bought through them.

It's a little more than the local guys here quoted me... but they just opened their shop (about 10-12 years combined experience at other shops in the area) and are trying to get their name out. I was quoted $500-ish for head unit w/ xm box, 2 sets of components, 2 amps in a false floor and building a speaker box. That is for install only, as I already have all the power/ground cables, fuse blocks, etc.

I'm getting the avital avistart 4400 remote start alarm for $400 parts and labor installed on top of that.

Who are you getting this quoted from? PM me the info if you'd rather, I may be able to help you out a bit, I used to work for a shop here, and still have a good relationship with them.
