I hate how they come out with new shit so soon. Makes you feel like you wasted so much money on something that will be updated and upgraded within 6 months for a few extra bux : \ .

I don't have too much of a problem with Apple's display pricing, they were the only 30" for over a year if I remember right, and HP and Samsung are the only others available which only came out within the last year. I guess Apple still don't feel heavily pressured by Dell's ability to lower prices on volume. I'm sure it won't be too long before we see a new set of displays that offer something others dont and value for what they are.

Of course there are alot of other 20" and 23-24" displays around, but Apple need to not ahve too much pricing difference between models.

Apples displays are amazing, they just have the the best quality, and some people choose that over the price. Also, some people are devoted to Apple. They feel that if they have a Dell monitor connected to a Mac Pro, then they are committing some sort of blasphemy. I personally choose the Apple brand over others because I know that when I pay that money, it will be money well spent, and it's going towards something with great quality. Just my opinion though

lol except if you look at the actuall tech specs the only thing apple displays have going for them is their tightness of pixels.

Other than that they suck in every other field over other monitors.
