what would be a good price to sell a 99 2wd suburban 2500 for? it has the 8liter vortec in it, runs good, been wrecked but fixed. Im thinking around $8k, im sure some mexicans will snap it up here in texas.

miles...and pics will probably yield a more accurate answer.

8k sounds about right though w/o checking the book on it.

Is the title salvaged though ?

If it's got a salvaged title, it isn't worth anything really. A Mexican would buy it, but only for a couple grand.

when i asked for pics.....i thought it was obvious that i meant of the vehicle in question. My mistake.

Pics and mileage of the vehicle YOU are trying to sell and this gives OT a better representation of what the condition is on it.

I think most people here in the Truck section of OT understand what a 3/4ton 1999 burban looks like.

W/ a clean title though...i bet it would sell for 8k (still haven't checked BB though)

I'd guess 6-7k, depending on the mileage. Just sell it for 8k OBO and let the market dictate it's value.

I checked what they are selling for on Craigslist in Austin, and 6k is about what they go for, some for about 5.6k
8k are the nice ones with leather and good stereo system, etc.

4-6k. I bought a 98 LT conversion for 2500 a few months ago with 154k on the odo. At least as clean as it was when it rolled off the showroom. It was some kinda trophy bass edition or something. Don't remember the exact name now. :hs:
