Preworkout Meal for Evening Workouts

    I've been eating protein + carbs from morning thru early afternoon and then protein + fat from late afternoon thru evening. If I workout in the evening should I switch two meals so that I have some carbs in me before my workout? Or is protein + fat alright for a preworkout meal?

    Preworkout for me is breakfast and its just 11 grams of fat, 70g carbs, and 57g protien (~595 cals) . Whole grian pancakes, sugar free syrup, 1 whole eggs and 3 eggs whites. Also drink a scoop of extend prework (~90 or mins befor ei head the gym) and also another scoop and half post workout.

    Just eat something well balanced..

    Well I'm working out in the evening when I don't normally eat carbs because I am cutting.

    carbs pre-workout and post-workout are fine, as long as you aren't on a keto diet

    when i work out in the evening, i don't do anything out of the ordinary... i usually eat about an hour or two before i hit the weights... normal stuff, be it chicken + veggies or cottage cheese :dunno:
